Namaste, yogi friends!
Let me start by saying a massive thank you to you all for accompanying me on my yoga journey throughout 2024. It's been quite a year... two beginners' courses, two weekly Hatha classes, plus new classes in Gentle/Holistic yoga and (V)Ashtanga (my take on the primary series)! I'll be taking a two-week break for the Christmas and New Year weeks (w/c 23 and 30 December) and hope to see you again when classes resume on 9/10 January. See below for a couple of updates to the current schedule, and my January Special Offer...
New 10-week beginners' course: Special Offer - full course for £50 (limited time only)
Thursdays 1.00-2.15pm starting 16 January at St Luke's Church (Font Room)
A brand-new course for the new year, and at the discounted investment of £50 for the full ten sessions, if you buy the block before the end of December*! If you, or someone you know, would be interested in joining this course, drop me an email - vashti@seasideyoga.co.uk and I will add you to the list. NB: I only have six places in the classes so please do confirm your interest ASAP if you'd like to join.
No previous experience of yoga is needed to join, all are welcome - and you don't necessarily have to be a beginner. If you are returning to yoga after a break, or simply want to finesse your form, this course is for you. I'll introduce you to the main postures, breath work and meditation/relaxation techniques, and at the end of each 75-minute class, you will leave feeling rejuvenated and refreshed.
NB: if you're unable to attend each week it won't be a problem as we will review the previous week's postures the following week, and any remaining credits can be redeemed at the end of the course at other Seaside Yoga classes.
*If you would prefer to pay week-by-week, the drop-in rate of £8.00 per class is also available.
Gentle/Holistic yoga moving to Wednesday evenings 6.00pm to 7.00pm at BHASVIC
I am moving my Gentle/Holistic yoga class from Thursday lunchtime to Wednesday evening at BHASVIC, to make way for the new beginners' course at St Luke's. In this slower-paced class, we'll spend a little longer in each of the postures to fine-tune alignment and really connect with the breath. Each class has a theme, usually linked to yoga philosophy, and always includes plenty of time for breath work and meditation at the start and the end. The perfect way to end the day!
Regular class schedule
In additional to the above, I will, of course, be continuing my regular mixed-ability Hatha classes, as well as (V)Ashtanga - in the same slots as the classes this year, from 8 January. If you've been doing Hatha yoga for a while, why not set an intention for the new year to give (V)Ashtanga a whirl? Jump here to find full details of all classes.
Struggling for Christmas ideas? Why not give the gift of yoga!
I have gift cards available for various amounts, (including a card for the full beginners' course at the discounted price of £50.00 during December). The gift cards have no expiry date and the credits can be used in any of my scheduled classes.
Finally, a big thank you once again for coming to my classes this year - I really do feel blessed to be able to share this amazing practice with you! Looking forward to sharing continuing our journey into 2025!
Om Shanti
Vashti xx
