Namaste lovely yogis!
Can you believe we're almost at the end of another year? And what a year it has been! I'm so grateful to have been able to continue my classes, and to meet so many lovely new yogis! I will be taking a little break during w/c 22 and 29 December, and will return with my regular classes from w/c 5 January. I will also be introducing a couple of new classes. Please see below for details of these, as well as info about some seasonal special offers!
Introducing milestones!

Some of you have been practising with me for a long time now and I've been thinking about how I can recognise this - your commitment definitely deserves some kind of fanfare! So from January, anyone who has attended a landmark 100 sessions with Seaside Yoga will get a special gift... but I won't say what as I wouldn't want to spoil the surprise!
New 10-week beginners' course - Wednesday evenings 6-7.15pm at Bhasvic (from 14 January)

I'm running my 10-week beginners' course again in the new year. If you buy before the end of December it'll be at the discounted investment of £50 for all ten sessions*! If you, or anyone you know would be interested in joining this course, please drop me an email - vashti@seasideyoga.co.uk and I will add you/them to the list. I only have six places in the class so it would be great if you could confirm ASAP to be sure of a spot.
No previous experience of yoga is needed to join, all are welcome, and if you've done yoga before, but maybe not for a while and would like a refresher, that's also fine! The course will cover the main Asana (postures), breath practise (including Pranayama), and meditation/relaxation techniques. At the end of each 75-minute class, you will leave feeling rejuvenated and refreshed!
*NB: if you're unable to attend each week it won't be a problem as we will review the previous week's postures the following week, and any remaining credits can be redeemed at the end of the course at other Seaside Yoga classes.
New class trial: Chair yoga - Thursdays 2.30-3.30pm at St Luke's (from 15 January)

I've recently completed some training in Chair yoga and am looking forward to including a weekly class in my schedule for the new year - trialling at first to gauge demand. Chair yoga is a gentle, accessible practice that brings the benefits of yoga to every body - regardless of shape, size, age or ability.
Using the support of a chair, we’ll explore mindful movement, stretching and breath work to build strength, improve balance, and ease tension — all without needing to get down onto the mat! This class is perfect for beginners, those with limited mobility, or anyone seeking a calm, grounding afternoon reset.
